We are interested in identifying the causes and consequences of genomic variation. We integrate population genetics with comparative and functional genomics, to identify signatures of adaptive and mal-adaptive variation, and link that variation to changes in genome organization and gene regulation. We are particularly interested in understanding the role variation plays in shaping reproduction and development in vertebrates.
